#TheSundayPost So Many Books, Only So Much Time-

My goodness, my library holds are coming up fast! I just got the latest Charlaine Harris book and I've had that on hold for while! I am bumping up this book to the top of my TBR pile.  How about you? Do you plan your reading?  I try to map out a month at a time. If I don't then I find that I don't do a very good job of blogging!

Last week I was planning a post on the Ilona Andrews Innkeep Chronicles series, but it didn't happen. However, you will see it this week and I have all of next week's posts ready to go! Exciting!  This weekend I get to enjoy a 3 day weekend from working at the school and I am planning to finish and write up reviews for two books.

I often have to put something on hold at the library and then yes, they all come available at the same time. I love the delay feature that lets me keep my place in line but let someone else read it now. This way I have many more books on hold than checked out but at least I am not keeping books other people could be reading. I love my library. And Ilona Andrews is my favorite favorite. Enjoy your holiday!

I do plan my reading as I get a lot of NetGalley requests and have to make sure I get the reading and review done prior to pub date. Have a great week!

Long weekends are great. And I've liked all the Ellery adams books I've read...

I need to do better planning my reads - I really like buddy reading and tend to respond "sure!" when someone asks and sometimes I've suddenly got a LOT of books going all at once. I'm trying to just jot down my scheduled buddy reads on the calendar so I can try to at least not overcommit myself there. I'm very much a mood reader though, so it's not always so easy to plan.

I do have that problem with library books all coming up at the same time! Thankfully I can delay delivery until I'm ready and usually that works out pretty well.

Have a great week!

I often get several library requests coming in at the same time and that messes up my TBR that I had planned. I am also trying to get reviews posted, so I know how you feel, Victoria.

I usually don't plan my reading, but this year I have some very specific goals and some series I want to finish, so I'm trying to plan a month in advance. We'll see how it goes. I hope you're having a great week!

I wish I could map out my reading ahead of time but I inevitably stray from the plan depending on my moods. But having a flexible plan can be beneficial, I find. It especially helps if I know what book I want to read before I finish whatever I'm currently reading because I sometimes take a long time deciding what that next book should be. LOL

I love the Inn Keeper Chronicles! I am sorry for so late a visit to your blog. Last week was so busy and I am just now trying to catch up. Have a great week!
