I highly recommend keeping an eye out for free events in your community. It's a great way to get out of the house and socialize with strangers, which is good for the brain, body, and soul. A local realtor, insurance agent, and life coach put together a free vision board class near me this past weekend.
What a fun morning! And now I've got a Vision Board Journal to inspire me in 2026. There are many things I cannot control, and given that, I think it's extra important to dream about what I can control and find good around me.
It was a two-fer kind of day, and in the afternoon, I went to a Heated Rivalry trivia at Love's Sweet Arrow, my local romance bookstore. More fun! Good for mental health even though I didn't read the book and only watched the show, so I didn't know a bunch of the answers. Then when I left to drive home, it had begun snowing, and it kept snowing overnight and well into the day on Sunday.
In order to cope with extreme cold and lots of snow, I remind myself how good it is for my garden!
