We had a couple of days of severe storms with high winds that knocked down trees and branches. Our power was out for three hours Thursday evening and Friday evening we lost power and it didn't come back until just before noon on Saturday. Friday afternoon, I went for a walk with a friend. On our walk through a local forest preserve, we ran into new obstacles! Several trees were down on the path!
Boy, did I miss electricity! How was your week? I read some good books!

We are having more quick outages during peak hours. Usually I don't notice because we have solar now with battery backup. But a couple nights ago it went out and it was a hard switchover. We had less battery available and it was at night so we ran around and shutdown and unplugged things just in case. But it didn't last long.

It's always tough when the power goes out. Glad it wasn't too long. I enjoyed Wade Rouse's book. It was funny, but with an important message.
