I took this picture on January 3rd, the temperature was in the low 20s (aka -4 Celcius) but the wind chill was wicked cold! My ears were freezing under my hat. Luckily I always have a story to keep me distracted from the weather.

That sounds like a lovely place to run and read audiobooks! I don't listen to audiobooks often, but when I do, it's usually while I'm cleaning around the house or in the car driving by myself.
We've had bitter temps here. I listen to audiobooks daily, usually while doing chores, cooking and in bed. My husband snores and the earbuds help with that too!
